Feeling Good is a Nina Simone song that I couldn’t help recording on my phone in a huge storage unit that I had just finished clearing out. The acoustics were so sweet and the song so meaningful that day.
I’ve had the honor of working with many talented musicians over the years, including those in the Brazilian quintet ABRAZU: Dave MacNab guitar, Kendrick Freeman percussion & vocals, Bob Afifi flute, Gabe Case bass & vocals, and myself on small percussion and lead vocals.
