1930's Classics

Maria Bija Forever & A Day album

"Forever & A Day" was an album recorded live at the Banquet Sound Studios in Sebastopol, CA in the winter of 2006 along with the late legendary Ed Wetteland on piano, as a tribute to Maria’s parents, who loved the early jazz classics of the 1920's-40's-- the music of their childhoods.  These songs are from a less-complicated day and age, songs that relied upon beautiful melodies delivered by true musicians, songs she grew up listening to in her formative years, all of which makes this album close to her heart.  To make it even more dear, her own young daughters Lucia and Ismena Jameau sang on two of the tracks at 4 and 6 years old (Glory of Love & I Can't Give You Anything But Love).
