brazilian & more
I’ve had the honor of working with many talented musicians, including those in the Brazilian quintet, ABRAZU: Dave MacNab guitar, Kendrick Freeman percussion & vocals, Bob Afifi flute, Gabe Case bass & vocals, and myself on small percussion and lead vocals. Thanks to Sydney & Sheri at Paige 9 Productions for the reel.
There’s nothing like a little low-production home video to keep things real. These bunch of songs above are covers and originals, typical of what I play for solo gigs.
And the video below, Feeling Good, is a Nina Simone song of course, that I couldn’t help recording in a huge storage unit that I had just finished clearing out. The acoustics were so sweet and the song so meaningful that day.
L’Alma Negra is one of my originals on TWIN SOULS: BREATHE, an album I collaborated on with my former partner Diego Jameau.
BLUE BRAZIL musicians Pablo Rodriguez, Nate Lopez, Maria Ana (Jameau) Bija, Bob Afifi, Jacob Harris
Blue Brazil’s Tristeza Pe No Chao was a favorited song in The Netherlands when Challenge Records International promoted the cd BLUE BRAZIL: GEMA on air internationally.
